# Chains and partners

> Each chain does the job it is best at: Tempo settles, Across bridges, Base and Solana carry partner liquidity, Zcash keeps supplier payments private, NEAR Intents funds the shielded lane.

Corridor does not pick one chain for everything. It composes chains by role, and every role is reconciled by the same Corridor Reference.
